Hannibal glanced at Jono and raised an eyebrow. "I'm ready."
Jono
//And I... am also ready,// Jono replied. He still sounded a bit bewildered, but far less like he was about to panic and make a leap for a window or something. He turned to look at Alluka.
//How about you, Sunshine? Will those flowers do?//
... It was possible that he'd tucked a little something in with the yellow rose petals for her to find on her way down the aisle. Because he wasn't going to ask her to be flower girl without letting her have a friend along the way.
Alluka
Alluka had certainly not found her new friend yet–he'd have heard her squeal if she had–but she was, in fact, inspecting the flower petals.
They went with the flowers she had in her hair, a fact which pleased her greatly. She was wearing a simple white dress with saffron lace over-laying it. There was a bow at the small of her back and the edges of the ribbon brushed the hem of her dress.
She looked up at him, beaming, as she came over for a hug. "I think so, Papa! Is, is it time to start?"
Jono
//It is,// Jono agreed, crouching down to give her that hug, squeezing her tight before straightening up again and smiling down at her. //Lady Ghanima will go first, and then you with the flowers, and then Hannibal and myself, alright?//
He'd probably already explained this a dozen times. He was doing that a lot today to everybody. Maybe he was still a touch nervous?
Alluka
It was a good thing Alluka loved him. Even when he repeated himself constantly.
"Yes, Papa," she said obediently, since it was that important to him. "I'll remember what to do. I won't mess up, I promise."
Hannibal
"We know you won't." Hannibal stroked Alluka's hair for just a moment, then nodded to Sparkle, off to the side with the music setup.
Sparkle
Sparkle smiled and nodded back, gave them a thumbs up, and then cued up the music.
Because honestly, like hell these two were going to be marching to Pachelbel.
Ghanima
The guests settled down quickly into their seats as the music started, and Ghanima gave both grooms a reassuring smile before turning to glide down the aisle, every inch an empress arriving to preside over a matter of state.
When she reached the end of the banquet hall, she took up her position and turned to watch the rest of the procession arrive.
